Tbilisi now have an exceptional Greek eatery, Miti, located in the Wine Factory. From the moment we entered, the interior captivated us, evoking the authentic Greek atmosphere of Thessaloniki or Athens.

The Food Experience

The most important aspect, the food, is simply outstanding. Starting with the sharing dips, each one is spot-on. The hummus is creamy, with a perfectly balanced texture. The tzatziki’s flavor is authentically Greek, without any unnecessary additions. One comment for the dips: the eggplant dip could use some improvement, and the Miti team is already working on it.

The avocado hummus surpassed our expectations. Its acidity is well-balanced, the texture is creamy, and the flavor is rich, earning it a strong place on the menu.

Greek Salad: The extra virgin olive oil is a great choice, with fresh vegetables and high-quality olives. The feta cheese is good but could be improved.

Octopus with Baby Potatoes: Perfection on a plate. The octopus is tender and perfectly cooked, while the potato spices are just right. Highly recommended.

Dorado Grilled Fish: Cooked to perfection, the fish remains juicy and flavorful, thanks to the expertly chosen spices.

Grilled Salmon: Like the dorado, the salmon is juicy and well-cooked, accompanied by delicious fried zucchini and cauliflower.

Lamb Rack: New Zealand lamb, cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with spices that enhance rather than overpower the taste of the meat. Bravo!

Pitas: We tried two pitas—one with truffle and another with shrimp. The fluffy bread and flavorful combinations were delightful, and their fresh bread complements every dish.

Dessert

Miti’s signature dessert is a must-try. Although we couldn’t get the recipe (hahaha), it’s a yogurt-based dessert with breadcrumbs on top that’s worth the visit alone.

Overall Experience

We loved Miti, especially the backyard, the food, and the overall mood. Areas for improvement include using less dill in some dishes, a better choice of feta cheese, and slightly more attentive service.

Miti deserves a strong recommendation. You can’t truly experience the vibes until you try it yourself.
