Drawing inspiration from punk and industrial music, Parrish Smith incorporates vocals into his compositions, often reciting his own poetry and lyrics during his performances. Smith’s latest album, Light, Cruel, & Vein, was released on Dekmantel in 2022. Perc stands as one of modern electronic music’s reference points—one of the most respected forward-thinking producers in techno today, releasing records on such scene-leading labels as CLR, Kompakt, Drumcode, Stroboscopic Artefacts, and Ovum, as well as his own world-renowned Perc Trax imprint. Perc is as uncompromising as he is unique. The eminent artist from Tbilisi’s techno realm, BASSIANI resident and Shin Records founder Newa, will be joined by Gwän, known for delivering sets driven by fast-paced rhythms. HOROOM will feature performances by its resident DJs, who have significantly influenced the sonic landscape of the space for years. Kvanchi brings his unparalleled broad musical perspective, and Hamatsuki delivers futuristic visions and refined mixing skills, while Sophie Phare’s sets mark a celebration of uninhibited body movement and the culture of dance as we know it.
