Wayne Shorter, born in 1933 in Newark, became a great jazz saxophonist and composer. Starting with Art Blakey, he later joined the Miles Davis group, making a significant contribution to the development of modal jazz. His solo career was also successful, with albums like “Speak No Evil” and “JuJu” becoming cult classics. As a composer, he created jazz standards like “Footprints”. Wayne Shorter is a living legend whose influence continues to inspire new generations of musicians.
