Spielraum, a fiercely rebellious and like-minded queer collective from Amsterdam, is returning to BASSIANI on September 20th. The collective’s vision and musical ethos will be brought to the dancefloor by its resident artists: Nene H, a classically trained pianist, Berlin-based Turkish DJ and producer, renowned for her hypnotic sets that blend industrial and psychedelic sounds with darkwave, noise, and subtle Eastern influences, dedicated supporter of queers and people of colour, leading initiatives like Istanbul’s Sirän collective and the non-commercial label Umay. In 2020, she presented a collaborative project with the Georgian choir “Basiani” at Berlin’s iconic Berghain. Afra, the founder of the Pinkman sublabel Mindri with Marsman, whose powerful vinyl-only sets are a testament to her relentless exploration of electronic music’s depths, technical prowess, and impeccable selection. The fresh and impressive talent Twiena, known for her uplifting performances that blend and blur the lines between authentic techno, ghetto, trance, pure acid textures, and influences from the roots of the electronic scene from the UK to Chicago. Performing live is musician and sonic artist Zuka Babunashvili, known on stage as Zesknel alongside NDRX, a founding member of the 11th commune, a passionate music enthusiast, and a tireless advocate for nearly two decades of club culture. HOROOM welcomes back Fafi Abdel Nour, a Spielraum and Club RAUM family member and the visionary behind Groningen’s extravagant queer party series, Homoost, while the contemporary Georgian queer culture will be represented by the exceptional artists Sophie Phare and Valley Dolly.

Founded in 2014, it is located in the building of the city’s largest sports venue, the Dinamo Arena.

It is the largest techno club in Georgia and can accommodate around 1,200 people
